A new world, a new story, and an all-new band of Heroes of Light are ready to save Excillant. Bravely Default II brings turn-based JRPG combat to Nintendo Switch, built around the strategic risk/reward system Square Enix's Bravely series is known for.

The adventure begins when Seth, a young sailor, washes ashore in one of Excillant's five kingdoms. There he meets Gloria of Musa, a princess who fled her homeland after it was destroyed by forces bent on stealing its Crystals, along with Elvis and Adelle, two travellers chasing the secrets of a mysterious, magical book. Together, this unlikely quartet — the new Heroes of Light — must gather the four Crystals and stand against the darkness threatening all of Excillant.

With more than 20 jobs to master, each carrying its own set of skills and abilities, Bravely Default II offers one of the deepest customisation systems in the series. Defeat the powerful Asterisk-holding bosses scattered across the world to unlock new jobs for your party — fell Orpheus to become a Bard, or take down Dag to master the Vanguard class — and mix abilities freely to build the strategy that suits your playstyle.
